19 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Finance when it is intended to commence work on the interpretative centre proposed by his Department for the Grand Canal Harbour Basin, Dublin 2; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I expect that tenders will be invited shortly for the construction of the proposed Waterways Visitor Centre for the Grand Canal Basin, Ringsend. It is intended that work will start on site during the autumn.
