Ceist:54 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is due a tax refund for the years 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1990-91.
Written Answers. - Tax Refund.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a balancing statement in respect of the year 1989-90, issued to the taxpayer on 30 August, 1990, showing an overpayment of IR£194.85. A cheque for this amount issued to him on 6 September, 1990.
A further balancing statement in respect of the year 1988-89, issued to him on 28 May 1991, showing an underpayment of IR£44.92.
The inspector of taxes has also requested the taxpayer's Form P.60 for 1990-91, and on receipt of same, will review his liability for that year.
