Written Answers. - Processing of Person's Tax Affairs.

Ceist:

75 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have the tax affairs of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny processed as soon as possible to enable a file held in the tax office to be released immediately and allow the proceeds of an estate to be divided.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes dealing with this case has written to the late taxpayer's solicitor for the information necessary to finalise it. On receipt of this information the case will be dealt with as soon as possible.
