Vol. 409 No. 8

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy G. Mitchell, the circumstances of drivers, especially young drivers who have to pay increasingly large insurance premiums despite not having any claims against their insurance policies; (2) Deputy B. Durkan, if the Minister for Agriculture and Food will ensure that, in the context of the current appeals relating to the review of the disadvantaged areas, a thorough survey will be undertaken of all of county Kildare not yet reclassified with a view to including sufficient areas in the county to maintain parity with neighbouring counties; (3) Deputy P. Rabbitte, the need to set dates for the construction, commissioning and opening of the Tallaght Regional Hospital; and (4) Deputy Mac Giolla, the effect of the rezoning of 180 acres of land near Palmerstown, County Dublin, on the decision by the Minister to build three new satellite towns in west Dublin and to complete each of them with their own town centres to ensure that they were viable towns in their own right and not merely suburbs of Dublin.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by the following Deputies: Deputy Gay Mitchell and Deputy Rabbitte.
