Ceist:61 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if, in relation to the computer in the classroom project, undertaken by a supermarket chain (details supplied), a computer company (details supplied) and primary schools, she will outline (1) whether she was involved in prior discussions and negotiations with any parties to this project, (2) whether her sanction was required for the participation of schools in this commercial promotion and (3) her views on whether young children are being used by this supermarket as an instrument to force parents to shop in these branches; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the computer company involved received an under-whelming review in the computer trade press recently; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
