148 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the number of teaching posts it would take to reduce the retention figure for two teacher primary schools from 28 to 25; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

149 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the number of teaching posts it would take to reduce the retention figure for two-teacher primary schools from 28 to 26.

150 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the number of teaching posts it would take to reduce the retention figure for two teacher primary schools from 28 to 27.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 148, 149 and 150 together.

The following table outlines the number of posts that would be required if the enrolment figures for the retention of a first assistant in national schools were reduced as indicated by the Deputy. These posts are based upon the enrolment in national schools on 30 September 1990.
