Ceist:

35 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether in the light of his decision to abolish the National Development Corporation, he will outline his plans for the staff of that agency; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Compensation in line with the terms provided under the public service early retirement/severance package is available to the staff of NAD-CORP. For those who do not wish to accept the package, every effort will be made to secure alternative employment in the public service.
