This grant has been paid recently.
Charles Flanagan
Ceist:63 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason grants under the beef premium scheme were not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.
This applicant has been requested to submit cattle identity cards in respect of four animals on which he applied for the 1990 special beef premium and when he does so the question of payment will be considered further.
Michael Lowry
Ceist:64 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current position regarding an application under the installation grant aid scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and when payment will issue.
It is hoped to have this application determined shortly. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.
Austin Deasy
Ceist:65 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will agree to the payment of a special beef premium in respect of 30 cattle in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who encountered a problem with his application because of the death of two cattle.
Under the concession given by the EC Commission recently this applicant may now be paid 1990 special beef premium on the animals retained by him for a period of two months. Premium will be paid at a reduced rate of 80 per cent and payment will issue shortly.
As regards the animals sold by the applicant, payment cannot be made on them under the terms of the EC concession.
