66 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the total budget allocated to the Industrial Development Authority in 1991; the proportion of this which is expended on administration costs; and the number currently employed by this body.
The total grant-in-aid allocated to the Industrial Development Authority for 1991 is £133.35 million. In addition the IDA will generate own resources income of £33.06 million of which £4.5 million will be contributed to the Exchequer. Out of the total budget of £161.9 million, £29.6 million will go towards administration and other noncapital expenditure. The total staffing of the IDA is currently 558 people.
