Ceist:75 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reason unemployment benefit has been refused to persons (details supplied) in County Kildare and who are now temporarily laid off.

It is proposed to review further the unemployment benefit claims of the persons concerned and of others previously employed at St. Patrick's College, Maynooth. When the claims have been examined I will write to the Deputy setting out the position in full.
