179 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Education when she intends providing school transport for five families (details supplied) in County Cork who were provided with transport until it was terminated to Knockclarrig primary school, Rockchapel, County Cork.
The service referred to in the Deputy's question was withdrawn at the end of the summer school term 1991 as the number of eligible children offering for transport was below the minimum number of ten required to maintain the service.
The question of re-establishing this service is being examined in the Department at present. As soon as a decision has been reached, I will communicate with the Deputy.
