Ceist:193 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education if her Department will now provide school transport for a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim to Drumcong national school.
Written Answers. - County Leitrim School Transport.
This pupil lives 1.1 miles from the pick-up point from the service to Drumcong and 1.1. miles from Kilnagross national school, his nearest school. He is therefore not eligible for free transport. In view of his basic ineligibility, I regret that he may not have transport either on a free or fare-paying basis to another national school.
