Ceist:76 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his Department will be submitting island sites of less than 12,000 hectares to the EC for classification as disadvantaged or for reclassification.

While the EC Commission has not specified the minimum size of homogeneous area for classification, I can confirm that island sites which meet the criteria on appeal will be included in my Department's submission to the EC Commission.
