Ceist:89 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment if he will issue a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Ceist:90 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list the local authorities which have in operation the provision of an after hours emergency service for homeless persons; when this service commenced; and the body which provide the service in the designated local authority.
The revised guidelines in regard to the accommodation needs of homeless persons issued to housing authorities last May asked them to consider, in consultation with the health board and, where possible, any voluntary body working with the homeless in the area, the arrangements necessary to respond urgently to situations where a homeless person seeks accommodation outside normal office hours. Information is not available in my Department on the arrangements made by individual authorities in response to the guidelines.
