175 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the request which he has received from Benincasa special school, Blackrock, County Dublin, for an additional teacher; and if he will approve the appointment of an additional teacher for this school.

My Department have recently received an application from Benincasa special school for an additional teacher for the school.

I have asked the inspectorate in my Department to investigate the matter and I will be in touch with the Deputy at a later stage on the outcome.
