Ceist:145 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment the housing allocation to Donegal County Council each year from 1983 to date; and the total number of local authority houses built in County Donegal from 1983 to date.

I assume the Deputy is referring to the allocation for local authority housing construction. I refer to the reply to Question No. 34 of 4 May 1989 for the allocations for the years 1983 to 1988 inclusive; to the reply to Question No. 69 of 14 March 1991 for the years 1989 and 1990 and to the reply to Questions Nos. 253 and 259 of 17 April 1991 for the year 1991. In relation to the number of houses built in the years 1983 to 1990 inclusive, I refer to the Department's bulletins of housing statistics which are available in the Oireachtas Library. Information on the number of houses built in 1991 will not be available until early 1992.
