Written Answers. - Orthopaedic Services Funding.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

105 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health the amount of money spent in the last three years on further development of orthopaedic services in the Orthopaedic Hospital, Croom, County Limerick.

In the three years 1988, 1989 and 1990, a total of £140,000 was spent on the provision of a new physiotherapy department, new office accommodation and the upgrading of three wards at Croom Orthopaedic Hospital. Work is currently underway on the improvement of the X-ray and out-patients' departments and the upgrading of a fourth ward, at an estimated cost of £150,000 altogether.
