Ceist:126 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education if he will outline his plans for the future development of vocational education in the Stranorlar area of County Donegal.

Stranorlar post-primary centre has two co-educational schools, the vocational school and St. Columba's College, which together have an enrolment of 1,260 pupils. However, in line with demographic trends significant reductions in enrolments are expected in the coming years.
It is considered therefore that the long term post primary needs of the centre would best be met by a single post primary schools which would have a comprehensive curriculum and which would cater for the needs of all post primary pupils in the area.
