284 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline his intentions regarding the Garda station in Kells, County Meath when the new one is officially opened; and if he will make available to the local community for community purposes.

The Garda station in Kells is not surplus to State requirements at the moment. If and when it becomes surplus to requirements it will be advertised for sale by public tender. Local community groups will be given an opportunity to submit a tender at that stage.
