Ceist:291 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline (1) the number of illegal aliens that have been arrested and deported within the last ten years and (2) the countries these people originated from.

Records are not maintained in my Department in such a way as to enable the information sought to be readily provided. It would have to be specially compiled and this would require the allocation of scarce staff resources to the task, which would not be warranted.
