Ceist:

406 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Education if he will outline whether (1) an application for a grant has been received from St. Catherine's national school, Ballynoe, County Cork; (2) inspectors for his Department have assessed the condition of this school and (3) they have recommended that refurbishment be carried out; and if he will further outline (1) the list of refurbishments approved and (2) when the grant will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Following an application from the school authorities and reports from my Department's local inspector, arrangements have been made for the invitation of tenders for the supply of new furniture for this school and for inspection by an architect in connection with the provision of floor coverings and the condition of certain windows. The matters will be considered further on receipt of the tenders and report.
