Written Answers. - County Louth Vocational Education Committee Developments.

Ceist:

425 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if he intends to proceed with the proposed developments as contained in his Department's letter of the 20th June, 1991 to a vocational education committee (details supplied) in County Louth; when (1) final sanction will be given for these developments and (2) the contract for the work will be issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Architectural planning to provide additional accommodation at the school in question has been completed and is now ready for the invitation of tenders.

However, having regard to the capital resources available and my Department's ongoing commitments and priorities, I am not in a position to say when the project will be advanced.
