63 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline (a) the total number of local authority houses built in 1991 and (b) the number he expects to be built in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Returns by some housing authorities in relation to their operations up to 31 December 1991, on the housing construction programme are still outstanding. My Department are endeavouring to secure a full return as quickly as possible. I expect that some 1,500 dwellings will be completed in 1992.
