Ceist:

64 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if she has satisfied herself that all fluoroscopy units, which do not incorporate an image intensifier to reduce doses to patients have been withdrawn from all hospitals in this country as requested by the Nuclear Energy Board.

The Nuclear Energy Board, which is the regulatory body for licensing fluoroscopy units, have confirmed that fluoroscopy units which do not incorporate an image intensifier to reduce doses to patients, have been withdrawn from service.
