Ceist:169 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health if she will outline the growth in the number of attendances at accident and emergency departments of hospitals in the past four years.

The trend in total numbers of casualty attendances at the out-patient departments of all acute hospitals over the past four years is shown in the following table. The 1991 data relates to the first three quarters only.
