Vol. 415 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Dublin New School.

Seán Ryan

Ceist:

197 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the accommodation and physical shortcomings of an existing school (details supplied) in County Dublin he will outline his proposals for a new school building; and if he will confirm whether the necessary finance has been provided in the 1992 estimates to enable a start to be made this year.

Nora Owen

Ceist:

198 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the progress on the provision of replacement buildings for Scoil Choilmcille, Swords, County Dublin; and if he will expedite the planning process for this project.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 197 and 198 together.

An examination is currently being carried out by my Department of how best to meet the accommodation needs of the school in question having regard to its existing facilities.
Consequently the question of allocating funds does not arise at this time.
