72 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the position at present in regard to the erection of a new primary school at Currin, Templeport, Ballyconnell, County Cavan; if his attention has been drawn to the serious conditions that exist in the present school buildings; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Funding to commence construction of a new national school at Currin, Ballyconnell, County Cavan has been included in the 1992 capital programme for national schools. Tenders have been received for the project and are currently under examination. This examination will be completed at the earliest possible date when the further arrangements for the placing of the contract will be put in hands.
