236 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the present position regarding the extension of the proposed sewerage scheme for Kenmare in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter, outlining the necessity or otherwise for a new sewerage treatment plant in Kenmare.

The preliminary report for Kenmare sewerage scheme was approved in January 1992. Further planning of the scheme is a matter for Kerry County Council.
