Ceist:

172 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for the Environment if he will respond favourably to the recent request from Fermoy Urban District Council, County Cork, for sanction to complete two investigations concerning (a) water quantity at the council's source at Deerpark, Fermoy and (b) a site investigation for a proposed new reservoir.

Proposals for these investigations are under consideration in my Department. I am not in a position to indicate when they may be approved.
