Ceist:209 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who sold a milk quota to his Department.
Written Answers. - Milk Quota Buy-Up Scheme.
The person in question has joined the milk quota buy-up scheme. The first of the five annual payments due to participants in the scheme will be paid following verification of the exact amount of quota surrendered and confirmation that the producers involved ceased milk production definitively by 1 April 1992. It is hoped, however, to be in a position to make the first payment before the end of August this year.
