Ceist:208 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if farmers can now apply for a beef premium twice a year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have already announced that farmers who apply for the EC special beef premium scheme in the June 1992 application period will also be allowed to apply for the premium later this year on any extra eligible animals in their possession at that time.
