Ceist:189 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the fact that students entering third level education in 1992, who apply for a higher education grant in 1992, are being assessed for eligibility on their family income in the year they did their Leaving Certificate, rather than on the current year; if he will examine the situation with a view to changing the regulations to enable them to avail of the income limits in the modified scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
