Ceist:31 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for the Environment if there is any change in the plans to give the go-ahead to Muine Bheag Sewerage Scheme in County Carlow.

Tender recommendations submitted by Carlow County Council in respect of four contracts for this scheme are under consideration. Having regard to the existing level of commitments on the Water and Sanitary Services Programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision on the scheme may be made.
