Ceist:49 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Taoiseach the name and renumeration of the partnership programme manager appointed to his Department; and the qualifications of the manager and of each special adviser appointed.
Written Answers. - Departmental Appointments.
Mr. Donagh Morgan has been appointed chairman of the group of partnership programme managers and programme manager in my Department. His remuneration will be at principal officer (standard) scale with an allowance of 10 per cent. Mr. Morgan is a very experienced permanent civil servant.
The special advisers are the same as were appointed under the previous Government except that there is one fewer and the contract of one adviser will terminate at the end of this month. Each was appointed on the basis of knowledge of, and experience in, areas of particular expertise.
