Ceist:109 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment if he will provide the necessary funding for a water scheme (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Group scheme grants and contributions from group members are unlikely to suffice to finance this scheme, which in consequence may require a special contribution from the provision for public water and sanitary services schemes. Having regard to the overall demand on the water and sanitary services programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this scheme.
