Ceist:

114 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment the name of the partnership programme manager appointed to his Department; the names of the special advisers, if any, appointed; the qualifications of the people so appointed; and the remuneration involved in each case.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith)

An officer serving at Assistant Principal level in my Department (Mr. G. Rice) has been appointed partnership programme manager. His current remuneration is £26,869. Details in regard to special advisers were included in the reply to Question No. 226 of 10 February 1993.
