116 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment his plans, if any, for the provision of a by-pass at Cashel, County Tipperary; the lane scale of this project; if the planned route has been decided; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A long term strategy for the development of the road links to Cork and Limerick from the proposed Dublin/Portlaoise motorway is currently under consideration in my Department and will be determined in the near future. This will clear the way for the development of individual elements of the proposed network by the relevant local authorities.
