Directives 92/114/EEC and 92/97/EEC relate to the Type Approval of motor vehicles. They are amendments to existing Directives. To transpose them into Irish law requires an amendment to an existing Statutory Instrument. As amending Directives are adopted on a regular basis the Statutory Instrument is amended twice a year to incorporate a number of amending Directives. The Directives listed above will be transposed in the next amending Statutory Instrument which is due in the next few weeks. |
