Ceist:116 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the quantity of paper used, the quantity of recycled paper used and the quantities of post-consumer paper recycled by his Department.

During 1992, my Department purchased approximately 6,184,500 sheets of paper, of which 535,000 were recycled. It is estimated that 8,000 kg of waste (post-consumer) paper was sent by my Department for recycling by specialist firms in 1992.
