129 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Fearbreagus-Knockcroghery group water scheme has been awaiting sanction for the past three years; his views on whether this delay is justifiable; and when sanction for the scheme will be issued.
Group scheme grants and contributions from members are unlikely to suffice to finance this scheme which, in consequence, would require a substantial contribution from the provision for public water and sanitary services schemes. Having regard to the high unit costs involved, it would not be practicable to approve the scheme in its present form.
