Ceist:132 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve an application by Dublin Corporation to carry out window replacement at Davitt House, Drimnagh, Dublin 12.

The management and maintenance of their dwellings including, where necessary, programmes of window replacement, are matters for the local authority. However, where such work forms part of an integrated refurbishment programme in designated estates, assistance may be made available to the authority under the Department's remedial works scheme.
