Vol. 426 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Ivan Yates

Ceist:

211 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will receive their payment under the installation aid scheme.

This applicant has been deemed eligible for installation aid and payment will be made within the next four to six weeks.

Donal Moynihan

Ceist:

212 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a farm modernisation grant for a slatted shed will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Payment of this grant cannot be considered until the local office of the Farm Development Service has been notified that the work in question has been completed to specification and the necessary inspection has been carried out. It will also be necessary for the applicant to submit a current tax clearance certificate.

Enda Kenny

Ceist:

213 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive grant payments.

All grants due to this person under the 1992 ewe premium and sheep headage schemes have already been paid. He has also been paid his 1992 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants.

His sheep quota entitlement will be based on the number of ewes on which he was paid premium under the 1991 ewe premium scheme. If he wishes to be considered for additional quota, he may apply in writing to Quota Section, Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Michael Davitt House, Castlebar, County Mayo, outlining his circumstances and giving information in support of his application.

Enda Kenny

Ceist:

214 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. He is, however, an applicant for grants under the 1992 cattle headage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes. He has been requested on two occasions to produce proof of lands owned and when he does his applications under the above mentioned schemes will be processed further and if found in order payments will be made as soon as possible.
