The question of selection of a design team for the proposed extension at the community school in Dunmore, County Galway is at an advanced stage.

Ceist:343 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the Board of Management of a second-level school (details supplied) in Dublin 24 has deferred the admission of first year pupils until necessary additional accommodation and equipment (details supplied) are provided and commissioned; the action, if any, she proposes to take; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I have approved the inclusion in the post-primary capital programme of the provision of the accommodation in question. Architectural planning has almost been completed with a view to placing the contract in the near future in the expectation that the facilities will be available for the 1993-94 academic year.
