Ceist:344 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education if a request has been received from a school (details supplied) in County Cork for an extension of the school transport as far as the school premises.

The request to which the Deputy refers has been examined by my Department.
However, I am satisfied that the pupils in question have a reasonable and adequate level of service in the context of the general operation of the school transport scheme.
