28 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for the Environment the total number of persons on local authority housing lists at the latest date for which figures are available; the estimated number of local authority housing starts and completions during 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Details of the most recent assessment of housing needs under section 9 of the Housing Act, 1988 were published in the Annual Housing Statistics Bulletin, 1991, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
In so far as local authority housing "starts" and completions in 1993 are concerned, I refer to the replies today to Questions Nos. 19, 24 and 50.
