Ceist:34 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve the by-pass road in Ballincollig, County Cork; and if his attention has been drawn to the traffic congestion in the town.

Cork County Council have submitted outline proposals for a by-pass of Ballincollig. Further discussions with the local authority are required before a route can be agreed. The question of approving a scheme does not arise at this early stage.
