Ceist:70 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the number of beds in Dublin hospitals which are closed either temporarily and permanently; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is a total of 5,064 acute hospital beds in the Eastern Health Board area.
At present there are 11 beds closed for refurbishment at St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown.
