148 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment when sanction will be given for the culverting of a stream at Park Court Estate, Ballyvolane, County Cork, as the contract documents have been with his Department for some considerable time.
149 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment when a scheme tendered for in March 1990 for flood relief in Ballyvolane Cross, County Cork will be sanctioned, as the contract documents in this case have been with his Department for some considerable time.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 148 and 149 together.
While contract documents for these schemes have been with my Department for some time, I am not in a position, having regard to the overall demands under the water and sanitary services programme, to indicate when a decision may be made on the schemes.
