Ceist:157 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the commencement of a group water scheme at Coolick, Kilcummin, Killarney, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Group scheme grants and contributions from group members are unlikely to suffice to finance this scheme which, in consequence, may require a substantial contribution from the provision for public water and sanitary services schemes. Having regard to the overall demand on that provision, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this scheme.
