188 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence the weekly pay excluding marriage allowance for a Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant and Private, in the FCA in each of the years 1975, 1980, 1985; and if he will give comparative rates for PDF equivalent ranks based on five years service in the rank.
Members of the Reserve Defence Force when on permanent service or on service in aid to the civil power are paid at the rates and under the conditions prescribed for Permanent Defence Force personnel.
The annual pay rates for Permanent Defence Force personnel with five years' service in the ranks of captain and lieutenant as on 1 March in each of the years 1975, 1980 and 1985 are as follows:
